Bogotá, November 14, 2022. This Wednesday the 16th and Thursday the 17th, the Integrated, Comprehensive Networks and Health Systems international seminar will be held, organized by the Ministry of Health and Social Protection and the Pan American Health Organization.
The event, highly technical and requiring prior registration, is focused on the delivery of inputs on comprehensive, integrated networks of services, as well as the review of best practices in Primary Health Care. This is a strategic factor to advance towards universal health coverage and universal access to health.
The agenda, to present Care Models with Comprehensive and Integrated Networks, includes the sharing of experiences from Canada and Brazil, among others, as well as the analysis and reflections derived from them, headed by the deputy minister of Social Protection, Luis Alberto Martinez.
The international seminar is designed with a methodology combining plenary sessions and panels and will be attended by speakers from the United States, Spain, Costa Rica, Panama, Bolivia, Uruguay and Argentina.
The first day comprises three large modules that introduce models of care with comprehensive and integrated networks, experiences in other countries, governance challenges and funding challenges.
The second day is arranged in four modules, namely: Towards comprehensive health service systems, management of health care workforce, health as a public good that contributes to development, and health and development systems.
